SHAMDI Islamic Society is an islamic organisation incorporated in Nigeria with members all over the globe.The organisation among other things, it sponsors sufism activities particularly those of Tijania sufi order.

Most of the projects of the organisation are sponsored from the account of the organisation sometime charitable donations from individuals are accepted. Faidha project is sponsored jointly by the organisation and the correspondents. Charitable donations are welcome from any interesting person. SHAMDI is an acronym roughly translated as Islamic organisation & foundation of knowledge from an Arabic word في الدار العوفان الماسس  الاسلامي شعب

The aims of the Faidha project are:-

1. To provide a social website based purely on islamic teachings & injunctions that will serve as:
   1. An avenue for propagating the famous sufis teachings,
   2. An avenue for Exchanging sufis researches & majlis,
   3. An avenue for uniting sufis world wide,
   4. An avenue for exchaange of pleasantries between sufis world wide,
   5. An avenue for sufis chat & forums,
   6. An avenue for strengthening universal sufis brotherhood,
2. To bring all the 313 sufi orders under one social site where sufism brotherhood and exchange of pleasantries will be enhanced;
3. To provide an online sufis museum where historical resources can be safeguard for references by sufis;
4. To provide an e-library of sufism with free access from anywhere in the globe;
5. To provide materials capable of assisting a sufi to develop himself spiritually;
6. To provide solutions to problems facing sufis anywhere in the globe;
7. To provide an avenue for exchange of Sufism researches and findings;
8. To academically promote Ilm Al-Tasawwuf.

To achieve the following aims, it is agreed that:

• The Design language of the site is English, however posting can be done in any language.
• Citation of any verse of the holy Qurán must first be done in its Arabic text first before any other form of citation, so also is Hadith. While any other book the language of the book first before any other citations or commentaries.
• The site does not belong to one person or organisation after launching rather it belongs to Almighty Allah(SWT) & let His will be done in it.
• No any academic contribution can be accepted except from a sufi initiated into any of the 313 sufi order by someone authorized to do so.
