Biography of prophet Muhammad(SAW) the seal of the prophets(ASA) & leader of the apostles(ASA)

Nativity
The prophet(SAW) said to AbuBakr(RA), “O! AbuBakr, Allah the splendid & majestic created me from a ruby of light, then Allah the most splendid with His splendour look at it(me), may His name be glorified; and He placed me between His hand, I was overwhelmed (with His splendour) and I sweat and four drops of sweat dropped from me. From one of it you are created, Umar was created from the second, Uthman from the third, and Ali from the fourth. Your light O! AbuBakr, the light of Umar, Uthman and Ali were from my light”.
Reported by Ibn Abbas(RA) that when Allah created Adam(AS), halo (light of Muhammad SAW) manifested on his back. Angels used to stand from behind him and be looking at the light. Then, Adam(AS) said, “O! Lord, what are they looking at from my back?” it was then said, “They are looking at the light of Muhammad(SAW), the seal of the prophets who will come from you(descendant)”. Then, Adam(AS), “O! Lord, then put his light where I can (also) see it”. Then, it was placed on his (right) thumb and he said,”O! Lord does any of it remain on my back”.  God replied, “Yes, there is the lights of his companions”. “O! Lord place them on my remaining fingers”, pleaded Adam(AS). The light of AbuBakr(RA) was then placed on his middle finger, Umar’s(RA) light on his ring finger, Uthman’s(RA) light on index finger and Ali’s light on little finger.
Adam(AS) used to look at these lights on his right hand fingers always. These lights keep on manifesting on his right hand fingers until the day he(and his wife) ate the forbidden fruit the light then disappeared from his fingers to his back.
This is Muhammad’s(SAW) holy soul when it has not yet taken a body. Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass(RA) on this form of existence of the prophet(SAW) as halo, he said:

رسول من المولي و ءادم لم يكن      ويبقي رسولا داءما و معظما
He(Muhammad SAW) was an apostle from God, when Adam was not (created);
He remain an apostle forever and the highest(of all apostles)”.

This is in line with the blessed saying: “I was a prophet when Adam was between water and clay”.
Sheikh Ibrahim Inyass(RA) further said:

و والله لا تلقي لاحمد ثانيا         فاحمد فرد جوهر لن يقسما
By Allah, there cannot be second for Ahmad(Muhammad SAW),
For Ahmad is unique, and indivisible Jewel.

Muhammad(SAW) was born in Mecca, in the Arabian peninsula, as the day is breaking(around 4:20 AM) of Monday 12th of Rabiúl Awwal (the 3rd Islamic lunar month) in the year of the elephant(52 BH), which is equivalent to April 22nd 570 AD.
Naratted by Hazrat Qab al Ahbar, “Allah told Hazrat Mosa(Moses AS) the time of birth of Rasool Allah(SAW). and he (Mosa(AS)) told it to his people that when that(a particular) star will move from its place, it will be the time of birth of Rasool Allah (SAW). This news and will was travelling among jews from generation to generation
A Jewish scholar came from  Shaam and settled in Mecca. He had the knowledge of holy books (scriptures). He used to say:
"O! People of Mecca! very soon a kid will be born among you. Arab and rest of the World will follow him and he will win the rest of world. His time of birth is close. Who ever will get that time and will obey him, he will be successful and who ever will go against him, he will fail".

That night a shinning star was sited on top of Mecca, groups of sages from Jews living in Arabian peninsula sited the star and knew the prophet(SAW) they were long informed about is about to be born. Let’s check the bible and see how the Jews were anticipating and waiting for that prophet(SAW) which the shinning star that night is indicating his coming to the world:
Gospel according to John
1:20 “And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.”
1:21 “And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? and he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.”
1:25 “And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet.”
These are questions put forward by the Jews to John the Baptist(RA) when he started his ministry by baptising people. They first asked whether he was Christ(AS), at that time Christ(AS) was born, but has not started his ministry and therefore not known to Jews in person, but they were duly informed about his coming in the scripture, John the baptist(AS) replied he was not Christ(AS). The second question was are you Elias(AS) who was still alive but mysteriously had his identity hidden. Here too he said he was not Elias(AS). Finally they asked him whether he was that prophet(SAW)?
On sighting the shinning star, the Jews refused to sleep waiting to see how it will end. As the prophet(SAW) is about to be born, the shining star glows on the horizon of Mecca and finally glow on the house were the prophet(SAW) was born, the shining star disappeared. The Jews came to Mecca to find out a child born that moment. They asked Quareish(Arabs) whether a child has been born to them this night, but because most of the notables of Mecca didn’t know about the birth replied No. The Jews said, “No, you are wrong, a child is born to you this night, the leader of mankind, go and find out”

The family tree of Muhammad(SAW), a Christian once challenged us that if Muhammad(SAW) is great he should be traced back to David, Moses, Abraham, Noah or Adam (ASA). He even made a mistake by including Adam(AS) because every man is traceable back to Adam(AS). Now the complete family tree of Muhammad(SAW) back to the first man i.e. Adam(AS):
Muhammad(SAW) son of Abdullah1(RA) son of Abd al-Muttalib2 son of Hasheem3 son of Abd Manaf4 son of Qusay5 son of Kelab6 son of Kaab7 son of Loay8 son of Ghalib9 son of Fahr10 son of Malik11 son of Kenana12 son of Khuzaymah13 son of Madraka14 son of Elias15 son of Mudar16 son of Nizar17 son of Maaed18 son of Adnan19 (who was very famous in Arab lands, and the prophet SAW is always referred to as son of Adnan) son of Add20 son of Moqawem21 son of Nahor22, son of Tareekh23 son of Yaaroub24 son of Yashjeb25 son of Napt26 son of Ismail27 (AS) the son of Hajar(Mother) and Abraham28 (father) peace be upon him, son of Tarekh29 son of Takhur'30 son of Shahrukh31, son of Argo'32 son of Falegh33 son of Aaber34 son of Shalikh35 son Arfakhshd36 son of Sam37 (The father of all Semitic race) son of Noah38 (AS), son of Lamekh39 son of Mtosholekhson40 son of Enoch41 (AS) son of Yared42 son of Mhlaiil43 son of Guenin44 (Cainan) son of Yafit45 son of Seth46 (AS) son of Adam47 peace be upon him, the first man created.
The blessed prophet(SAW) in a prophetic hadith stated that the illicit sexual intercourse that is rampant in those early years of mankind does not touch any of his ancestors in his tree. The holy soul of the prophet(SAW) passed through marriage from Adam(AS) down to Abdullahi(RA).
A young beautiful Arab girl in a neighbouring village of Yathrib close to Mecca was called Amina. Her father was Wahhabu, who was a respected old man, wanted to find for his daughter a suitor; he was not satisfied with the young men in the village of Yathrib. One day he was informed about a young man from Mecca, a son to the custodian of Ka’aba itself, AbdulMutallib. A young man skilled with trade, honesty, of noble birth, and above all very handsome. He wished for his daughter this very man. He consulted his wife and she welcomed the idea. He immediately sent her on a journey with one of his trusted slave to Mecca to meet AbdulMutallib to ask for his son’s hand in marriage with Amina.
On reaching Mecca, the two met AbdulMutallib and he hosted them graciously. When the request was made known to him, he replied, “Let us wait to hear the opinion of the boy first.” When the young boy was consulted he declined to say his mind this is because he wanted to see the girl first, quickly his father understands this and he asked that when they come to Yathrib his boy will make his mind after seeing the girl.
AbdulMutallib carried his young son Abdullahi on a journey to Yathrib where he met Wahhab. Arrangement was made for the boy to see the girl. Wahhabu met his wife and informed her to bath and dress the girl so that the young boy will find her suitable to be his wife.
Meanwhile Amina was on the grazefield looking at flowers and playing with birds, when Allah (SWT) summoned angel Gabriel(AS) and instructed him to come down to Earth and re-created Amina to be a girl of Abdullahi’s dream. The angel was given Kun fa yakun by the divine Essence, that is the divine power to say be to anything and it will be as said.
Angel Gabriel(AS) descended and found Amina to be beautiful enough for Abdullahi only that he erect her back as it was bent a little, dragged her nose out and straighten her legs which were initially bowed.
When Amina’s mother came to bath and dress her, she noticed these changes on her daughter and asked. The girl replied I did not know, I only felt someone erecting my back, dragging my nose and straightening my legs but I see no one. The mother exclaimed, It is the lord of Kaába, He is on our side today.
When the boy saw her he liked her and she liked him. His grandfather earlier wanted the marriage to be done in a year time so as to make a grand preparation, but the boy objected. Luckily was that objection, for Abdullahi will not live to see next year.
Abdullah(RA), the son of Abdul Muttalib(RA), and the father of Muhammad(SAW), was then 24 years of age, affianced to Amina bint Wahab(RA) who came from Medina but shared ancestors with Abdullah(RA). Briefly was the wedded life of Abdullah(RA) and Amina(RA). Shortly after the marriage her husband set out on a mercantile expedition to Yathirab, leaving the young pregnant wife who was destined to see him no more. It was their first and last parting, for on the return journey, Abdullah(RA) sickened and died before his wife was delivered. He was buried in Dar-i Nabigha, among the Banu Najjar. For the support of his widow, Abdullah(RA) left behind him no richer legacy than four camels, a flock of goats and a slave girl named Ummu Ayman(RA).
Amina(RA) gave birth to prophet Muhammad(SAW) in a rented house by her husband, the house belong to Muhammad bn Yusuf As-Saqafa who was the landlord of Amina’s husband. In attendance to the child birth is Umm Abdurrahman bn Awf(RA).
Amina(RA) narrated her experience during conception, whenever she opened her belly and observed she will see light moving around her belly. She further commented that she never experience ante-natal sickness and ailments. There are other miraculous events that took place at that time, foretelling the coming of the greater one. Some men of the city of Mecca went on a trip to Syria. On the way they met a monk. Four of these Meccans decided to stop for a while to talk with the monk.

In those days monks lived in places where there were very few people so that they could have quite time to worship Allah. They also were people who read scriptures and knew many stories. Only a few Meccans knew about reading. All they knew about was trade and enjoying themselves. They knew they would hear interesting and entertaining stories from the monk.

After talking for a while the monk asked the men, " where are you from ?"

They answered, " we are from Mecca.",

The monk then told them, " Allah will send a prophet to Mecca soon."

The four men continued on their journey thinking about the things the monk had said. Each of them wished that the new prophet would be his own son.

Abdulmuttalib(RA), the grand father of Muhammad(SAW) was asleep in Ka’aba. He had a strange dream. He saw a tree growing until it reached the sky. The tree had branches that spread to the East and the West. It appeared that a very bright light was shining on the tree. Abdulmutalib(RA) saw the Arabs and the non-Arabs bow to the tree. The tree continued growing larger, higher, and brighter. Then he saw some people from Quraysh holding to the branches of the tree, while other Qurayshis tried to cut down the tree. A very handsome youth stopped them from cutting down the tree. Abdulmuttalib saw himself put his hand out to grab the tree, but he could not reach it. He woke up from his sleep frightened.

Abdulmuttalib sat thinking of the dream and what it meant, but he could not find an explanation for it. The next morning he went to the priestess of the Quraysh to ask her to interpret the dream. The Arabs always asked the priest or priestess for the explanation of dreams.

When the priestess saw Abdulmuttalib, she saw sign of worry on his face, so she asked, "why do you look so worried:"

Abdulmuttalib answered, " I had a dream that frightened me." Then he told her all about the dream.

When he finished, she said, "if your dream ever comes true, then one of your sons will control the East and the West. All the people will follow him."

Abdulmuttalib was pleased with what the priestess had told him. Later when he met his son Abu Talib he told him about the dream and what priestess had said. Then he said to his son, Abu Talib, " I hope you are the one the priestess meant in her explanation."

But the intended one was not Abu Talib. The one the priestess mean was the yet unborn grandson of Abdulmuttalib. Abdulmuttalib had son named Abdullah who was to married to Amina, daughter of Wahb.
Amina(RA) the mother of the prophet(SAW) conceived his pregnancy and on the month of Rajab she saw a tall and heavily built old man who came to her and said “Assalamu alaiki (peace unto you), the mother of the best of mankind”. She replied with taslim and asked who is he. The man replied, I am Adam the father of men. I came to give you the glad tiding of what you will born. He shall be the leader of men.
On the month of Shaában, Amina(RA) was visited by another man of the same height and structure. And when she asked about his identity, he said I am Seth(AS), the grandson of Adam(AS) and the first prophet(AS) to be revealed a scripture. I came to pay homage to the best of all creature, the child you are about to born.
On the month of Ramadan, when Amina’s pregnancy was only three month old, she was visited by another man dressed in beautiful cloth. When she asked about his identity, the man said, I am Enoch(AS) the second prophet(AS) to be revealed a scripture. I came to pay homage to the leader of all prophets(ASA) and their seal, the child you will born.
On that month as she was going to visit Ka’aba, the ancient house which then, the Meccan placed more than three hundred idols in it. She heard sound coming from her belly instructing her never to enter Ka’aba. She asked why and who is speaking. I am the child inside your womb, that house has been defiled with idols and you cannot take me to the house where idols are kept.
On the month of Shawwal, another old man holding a long staff visited Amina(RA) and when she asked about his identity, he said, I am Noah(AS) the one who constructed an ark that saved the world from the great flood. I came to pay homage to the one who will save the entire world by an ark better than mine. That is the child you are carrying.
On the month of Dhul Qaádah, a tall, heavily built and handsome man visited Amina(RA). He told her I am Heber(AS) the grandson of Noah(AS) from the Add tribe. I came to pay homage to the best of all messengers of Allah, the child you will born.
On the month of Dhul Hijjah, she was visited by a wise and handsome old man with white beard. He told her, I am Abraham(AS) the father of many nations. I came to pay homage to the beloved to Allah, the child you will born.
On the month of Muharram, she was visited by handsome Arab dressed in Arabian attire. He told her I am your grand father Ishmael(AS) the son to Abraham(AS). I came to pay homage to the one given a heavenly-book in Arabic language, the child you will born.
On the month of Safar, she was visited by a man with beard and a revered staff on his hand. He told her I am Moses(AS) the one given Torah. I have came to pay homage to our leader, the child you will born.
On the month of Rabiúl Awwal, the month Amina will give birth, she was visited by a man with simple look and easy going, he told her I am Jesus Christ(AS) the son of Mary(RA). I came to pay homage to the last messenger of God, the child you will born.
On the first of Rabiúl Awwal Angel Gabriel(AS) transformed into a man and visited Amina and told her about his identity.
On the second of Rabiúl Awwal Angel Michael(AS) transformed into a man and visited Amina and told her about his identity.
On the third of Rabiúl Awwal Angel Israfeel (AS) transformed into a man and visited Amina and told her about his identity.

On the seventh of Rabiúl Awwal Angel Rakeeb & Ateed (ASA) transformed into a men and visited Amina and told her about their identities.
On the eight of Rabiúl Awwal Angel Munkar & Nakeer (ASA) transformed into a men and visited Amina and told her about their identities.
The prophet(SAW) was born circumcised like the other twelve prophets(ASA) that were born circumcised. The twelve are:

  1. Adam (AS)
  2. Shitu AS (Seth the son of Adam)
  3. Idris AS (Enoch)
  4. Nuhu AS (Noah)
  5. Sam AS the son of Noah
  6. Lut AS
  7. Yusuf AS (Joseph)
  8. Musa AS (Moses)
  9. Shuáib AS (Jethro)
  10. Sulayman AS(Solomon)
  11. Yahaya AS(John the Baptist)
  12. Isa AS (Christ)

The prophet(SAW) was breastfed by eight women excluding his mother, and they were:

  1. Amina(AS) his mother who breastfed him for three days,
  2. Thuwayba the slave girl of his uncle Abu Lahab, the one he freed when she gave him a glad tiding that his brother’s wife gave birth to a male child. She breastfed him for only a day.
  3. Halima who became his nursing mother,
  4. Khaulat bnt Mudhir,
  5. Ummu Ayman,
  6. Saádiyyat,
  7. Atika bnt Halal bn Falaj,
  8. Atika bnt Murra bn Halal bn Falaj,
  9. Atika bnt Awqas bn Murra bn Halal bn Falaj.

Regarding the last three foster mothers of the prophet(SAW), he used to say:

انا ابن لعواتك
“I am a child of Awatik (more than one Atika)”.

It was time for Amina's baby to be born. She gave birth to a beautiful, clean baby boy. Since the boy's father had died months earlier, Amina sent the news to her son's grandfather, Abdulmuttalib. Abdulmuttalib was sitting in the Kaaba when the news came. He was delighted. He went to Amina and carried the boy happily to the Kaaba. When he brought the baby back to her, he said, " I have named him Quthm."

Abdulmuttalib had a boy named Quthm but he had died when he was nine years old. That made Abdulmuttalib very sad. So when Amina gave birth to a boy, Abdulmuttalib wanted to name him after the dead boy.

Amina had to tell him, " I was ordered in a dream to call him Muhammad." Abdulmuttalib picked up the baby, kissed him and said, " I hope that my grandson, Muhammad, will be a great man."

On the seventh day after Mohammed's birth, Abdulmuttalib ordered animals to be slaughtered and asked the people of Makka to come to a feast. After everyone had eaten, Abdulmuttalib brought out his grandson, Muhammad, to show the people. Everyone said that he was such a beautiful baby. The people also felt sad for the baby because he was an orphan. His father had died before seeing him.

One of the men asked Abdulmuttalib, "What did you name him?" Abdulmuttalib answered , " I have named him Muhammad."

Another man asked in surprise, "why did you name him Muhammad? No one in your family or people was ever named Muhammad."

Abdulmuttalib did not want to reveal that Amina was asked in a dream to name him Muhammad, so he said, "I wanted Allah to praise him in Heaven and I wanted people to praise him on Earth."

When the visitors left, not one of them realized that this orphan baby was the one chosen to lead them from darkness to light. They did not know he was the answer to Abraham's prayer the day he was ordered to build Kaaba:

"Our Lord, send unto them a messenger from among themselves to show them your signs, to teach them the Qur'an and wisdom, and to purify them. You are All-Mighty and All-Wise." (The Qur'an Al-Baqara 128).
The forerunner to Jesus (AS) was John the Baptist (AS), the son of Zacharia (AS). He was beheaded by King Herod, the puppet king of Galilee under the instruction of his wife. John the Baptist’s (AS) body was buried by his disciples. They tried to wash the blood-stained clothes but the stains would not come clean. Jesus (AS) was one of the disciples of John the Baptist (AS), so John’s disciples went and reported the matter to Jesus (AS). Jesus (AS) foretold that these blood-stains would not come off the clothes until the date of the birth of the father of the Promised Prophet(SAW). On that day the blood would become fresh and by itself flow off the clothes miraculously, leaving them pure white.
On the day of the birth of Abdullah, the father of Muhammad (SAW), the Jewish elders in Syria saw the blood-stains become fresh and drip off miraculously from John the Baptist’s (SAW) preserved blood-stained clothes, until they became pure white. Thereupon some of the learned Jews came from Palestine and Syria to Mecca to enquire about this newborn child. When they saw the ‘Nur-e-Muhammadi’ (Light of Muhammad) on the forehead of the child Abdullah, they recognised him and said this is ‘Nur-e-Muhammadi’ of the Promised Prophet(SAW). Hence they realised that Abdullah was going to be the father of the Promised Prophet(SAW); as foretold by Jesus Christ (AS) in relation to the blood-soaked clothes of John the Baptist (AS).
Amina was Visited by Abraham(AS)
An old man with white hair appeared to Amina during her pregnancy and said to her, “The child now in you, whose name will be Muhammad, is the only prophet from the descendants of my first son and heir, Ishmael (AS)”. She asked who was he and he said I’m Abraham(AS) and he explained that the reason for the visit of the angels and previous prophets(ASA) to her were due to the fact that she was the mother of the Promised Prophet(SAW). Thus Amina became the third woman in the whole of creation to receive direct visits of angels. The first was Sarah, the first wife of Abraham (AS) and the second was Mary, mother of Jesus (AS).
